It has a very graceful, slim, solitary trunk and noticeable white rings are the scars of fallen leaves.Tolerant to wind and light frost. Landscaping Uses:Perhaps the most popular indoor palm. Elegant fronds and slender ringed trunk make it a beautiful addition to any garden. Essential palm for the subtropical garden or near a pool. Best effect created when different sizes mass planted to provide a multi-level group. Can be used to reproduce the effect of the tropical Coconut Palm in the temperate New Zealand climate.
