Plant / Product Features:
Native to Madagascar. Clustering palm in clumps of 3-5. Admired for its clean, multi stemmed, bamboo-like appearance, this palm displays red/purple stems when young, changing to green/yellow when mature. The arching trunks and feather like fronds which form this palm give it a classic tropical look. Grown in full sun to partial shade. Similar looking to the Golden Cane Palm often seen in Australia but much better suited to New Zealand conditions.Best in a sheltered position.

Landscaping Uses:
Excellent palm for the small garden or small specimen palm in larger garden. Great near a pool.
